Since you&#039;re a historical fiction fan, have you ever ready the Aubrey-Maturin series by Patrick O&#039;Brian? Some of my favorite all-time books, and I&#039;ve been rereading them since last fall. Such riches!

Dorothy Dunnett&#039;s Lymond chronicles are another excellent historical fiction series (16th century), but they are not light reading by any means. Lady Dunnett was quite erudite, so the books are challenging in their allusions and layered meanings. She was also a writer not afraid to emotionally eviscerate her readers.....</description>
