Slow Time is The Artist’s Way for time: a workbook offering twelve weeks of reflections, stories and playful exercises to help readers transforms their relationship with time. The book shows readers how to jump off the hamster wheel of artificial time and experience the flow and the rhythm of natural time.

Celebrating the Seasonal Holy Days
This little comb-bound book was the kernel for the expanded information found in the holiday packets. It provides an entertaining and informative introduction to the background and folklore of Lammas, Harvest (Autumn Equinox), Halloween (Samhain), Yule (Midwinter or Winter Solstice), Candlemas (Imbolc), Easter (Spring Equinox), May Day (Beltane) and Midsummer (Summer Solstice). Waverly suggests creative ways to celebrate these eight seasonal holidays, either alone or with others. A nice gift for family and friends, this book is also a great quick reference when you’re planning a ritual.

Thirteen Christmas Cookies
This little book offers recipes for making thirteen traditional cookies, served during the winter holidays, in the Netherlands, Germany, Greece, Scandinavia, Italy and Denmark. You will find recipes for making Kourabiedes, Springerle, Cavallucci, Speculatius, gingerbread, Advent pretzels, Lussekatter (Lucy Cats) Twelfth Night Cake and more. Each recipe includes an explanation of the deep historical roots of the cookie, including its symbolism, use in rituals and association with winter gods and goddesses.
It was my friend, Helen Farias, who first told me that you should bake thirteen different kinds of Christmas cookies during Advent. Even though I had never heard of this before (or since), I knew instantly that she was right. Perhaps she derived her idea from the custom in Southern France of serving 13 desserts after Mass on Christmas Eve. At any rate, if you make 3 batches of cookies a week during the four weeks of Advent (plus an extra batch one week), you will have 13 kinds of cookies ready for serving at Christmas or giving away as gifts, plus plenty to serve at your Advent gatherings.

Twelve Days of Christmas
I’ve been celebrating the magical time interval between Christmas and New Year, when time is suspended and miracles can happen, for over 15 years and it’s become one of my favorite holiday rituals and one I love to share with others. This illustrated book contains some of the traditions I’ve created, as I review the year past and create visions for the year ahead, and some I learned from my students when I offered this as an online class, plus
- Folklore about the 12 days of Christmas
- Ideas for celebrating each of the 12 Days
- History of the famous 12 Days of Christmas song (and alternate versions)
